This is our 8” Chef’s knife design otherwise known as the “Mule”! This blade design earned its name because just like its name sake this mule will become one your most used knives in the kitchen!


“Mules are one of the most commonly used working animals in the world, highly prized for their hardiness and docile nature. In countries from North Africa to Southeast Asia, mules pull carts to market, carry people across rough terrain, and help their owners to till the soil.” – SPANA

The blade steel used on this knife is known as AEB-L stainless steel. Legend has it that this steel was originally developed by Bohler-Uddeholm as a razor blade steel. This steel performs exceptionally well when used in a culinary setting as it takes a very keen edge. We aim hold our AEB-L stainless steel knives once heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC.
