This rugged 8” chefs knife is another one of these fun creations I have had simmering in the background and waiting for the right time to complete and release in to the wild. I was at a cross roads, either full dress titanium scales or delrin with same stippling you’d expect from a firearm. My community on Instagram choose tactical aka the “Standard issue Mule” first.
With the direction locked in I went to work. The results are a stainless steel blade, stainless fasteners with a thin layer of epoxy between the Delrin scales to help prevent moisture creeping in. The epoxy also reduces the risks for field repairs.
This is my first standard issue mule in this series.
