The Pocket Pry Bar — Gen 3 | Tumbled 304 Stainless
Three generations in the making. This is the one that got it right.
The Pocket Pry Bar Gen 3 didn't arrive fully formed. It started as Gen 1 — a solid first attempt with one problem. Then Gen 2 — better, but not there yet. Then this.
Gen 3 is what happens when you listen to the people carrying your tool every day and go back to the bench until it's actually solved. The 1/4" hex bit retention that Gen 1 couldn't crack? Solved. The edge comfort that comes from hours of pocket carry? Handled with an in-house tumbling process that softens every edge without sacrificing the clean lines. The finish that looks like it's been places even when it's brand new? That's the tumble talking.
This is a small batch run. No two come out of the tumbler exactly the same. What shows up in your pocket is uniquely yours.
What it does:
Laser-cut 304 stainless steel with a hand-ground flathead and pry — built for the everyday tasks that don't need a full toolkit. Popping lids, scraping gunk, the bit work that comes up constantly when you're actually living your life. The new 1/4" hex bit retention holds your bit hands-free during use — the lesson Gen 1 taught us, finally solved.
Slim enough to disappear in your pocket. Tough enough to stay there for life.
What it's not:
This is stainless steel, not adamantium. It's built for everyday tasks, not vault doors or Marvel reboots. Treat it like the precision tool it is and it will outlast most things you own.
Small batch run. Next drop coming — join the email list to be first.
Material: 304 Stainless Steel
Finish: In-house tumbled — softer edges, rugged character
Bit retention: 1/4" hex, hands-free during use
Includes: #2 Phillips bit
Made by: One person, by hand, probably with kombucha nearby and metal shavings on their boots
Origin: Laser cut in the USA, hand finished in Provo, Utah
What's included: The Pocket Pry Bar Gen 3, #2 Phillips bit, and a BCB sticker.
Small batch. No two are exactly alike. Yours is waiting.
Questions Worth Asking
Can I pick the finish? Nope. Each one is hand-finished and tumbled — so what shows up in your mailbox is a surprise. Kind of like Christmas for your pocket.
Is it TSA-friendly? It's a hunk of stainless steel with no blade. But we're not lawyers or TSA agents. Fly at your own risk, pocket friend.
Can I buy more than one? This is a small batch run — we want as many people as possible to get their hands on one. Don't be that guy. Unless you're buying one for your buddy. Then be that guy.
Is this really made by you? Like… actually? Yep. After laser cutting every single one is made and finished by hand in my workshop, probably with an ice cold kombucha nearby and metal shavings all over my boots.
Will you make more? Yes — next drop coming. Join the email list and you'll hear about it first.
Is it bendable? It's stainless steel — not adamantium. Built for everyday tasks, not vault doors or Marvel reboots. Treat it like the precision tool it is and it will outlast most things you own.
